Amazing place

Well designed padel club. Played on court 5 where the bounce is yet to fully stabilise, however this is likely because they’ve just opened a couple months ago.

Okay. So here’s a really honest review of the place. This place shows how good marketing can be and also why you shouldn’t really dress it up when your place depends on repeat business. They sold it’s amazing and the videos looked amazing and everything sounded amazing to the point I nearly purchased a membership before it even opened. I’m so glad I didn’t. It venue didn't match the videos or hype at all. The venue itself is massive and the carpark is a really good size so off to a great start. Walk in and the reception team are so friendly. I would want them as the face of my company if I had one. The club shop is actually really well stocked and nicely set out aswell. So we’re all good so far. Then we walk into the venues through this little tunnel and it’s huge. You have this gym and sauna area on the right hand side. You don’t know if you’re allowed to use it or not. There isn’t really any info on it and it just feels like it’s almost a space filler. They have the bar on the left and it feels cheap and just like someone stuck some chipboard together and created this uninviting space that just has this ‘ I want to be cool’ vibe about it. It’s very… try to appeal to corporate companies. All in all. Nkt what should be in a padel venue. They roast coffee in the next bit down and again it’s gap filling. Why are we smelling coffee in the evening when playing padel. It’s the wrong thing to have. The padel courts are all dirty and need to be cleaned. Chewing gum and litter in them…. Not really the cleaners fault as they have got these office people that haven’t got any respect in there and they’re playing padel as part of a team building exercise rather than because they want to be there. The lights above the courts are all wrong and you lose the ball when played high. Not sure why they have them there. Need to be changed. A really really big tv at the back which I presume they have for sports such as World Cup. I don’t see the point. Who would go to a padel club to watch the football and if you was playing at the time you clearly don’t care about the tv being on and will be a distraction. Again. Really weird thing to have and just about being hip rather than the padel. The changing rooms are well well welllll to small for a venue of that size. It’s like they’re an after thought. All that venue with a changing room room that’s crowed with 3 people. A couple of showers and a small bench. It was shocking. So this place is very poor and needs to be changed around asap which won’t happen. They will be okay as long as it stays cool to play padel the moment the office parties stop their the place is finished I’d say. It has absolutely nothing on PadelHubs and one of the worst places I have visited. If you was in the area and had a car and wares to play padel this would do but if you had slightly more time I’d go to play in a proper venue. If you’re having an office party and needed loads of space for people then this is the place for your pizza and padel meeting.
