Our friend invited us for a free padel lesson, and it was a pretty interesting experience. The courts are nicely lit for evening play and feel well made, though they were a bit wet from the rain since they’re not covered. The rates are on the steep side at 2000 per hour, but as far as I know, it’s the only padel court in QC, so that makes it worth checking out if you want to try it. There’s also plenty of parking, which is convenient. They provide padels to borrow, so you don’t need to buy your own just to try it out. The court itself feels safe since it’s enclosed, though we did notice a huge rat outside. You can also hear the events from the nearby area while playing, and it had a slight smell reminiscent of rugby, which was a little unexpected. Overall, it was fun and a good way to try padel without having to commit to equipment right away.
